• GASTRO-FIX is a special nutritional formula for the management of acute diarrhea.
• GASTRO-FIX is a temporary (5-7 days) formula specifically designed for the recovery (after rehydration in combination with O.R.S.) from severe diarrhea of infants & young children and to fulfil the nutritional needs during this period.
• Main characteristics: Adapted carbohydrates content (Lactose free) Enriched with electrolytes (Na, K, and Cl & Zn) to correct the losses.
• No added Iron to avoid enhancement of diarrheic symptoms.
• Specific fat and protein content allows an adequate intake of nutrients despite impaired digestion and absorption during an episode of acute diarrhea.
